H-MTD® – High-Speed Modular Twisted-Pair Data

Rosenberger H-MTD® is a 360° fully shielded differential connector system for Ethernet applications. The newly developed system has successfully combined high-performance data transmission, of up to 15 GHz or 20 Gbps, in a compact yet robust automotive grade housing. Apart from ensuring high-bitrate data transmission, savings on installation space and weight, a further major advantage of this connector system is its modularity, providing the flexibility to support a wide range of Ethernet applications and industry protocols. Among others, this makes the Rosenberger H-MTD® highly suited for use by those designing solutions for the automotive industries.

IInd and IIIrd generation 1.6-5.6 connectors are intermateable and feature different coupling mechanisms for allowing male types to be connected to all female types. The 4.3-10 series is a low PIM (Passive Intermodulation) system for frequencies up to 12 GHz for use in mobile communication applications. It is designed to meet the growing performance needs of mobile network equipment, when connecting, for example, RRUs to antennas. Features include compact connector sizes, best electrical performance, low PIM and coupling torque as well as easy installation.
